Outmatched (outmatched.net) is a Rocket League tournament platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Account information — email address, username, display name, and password (stored as a secure hash).
• Profile information — optional avatar, bio, and region you provide.
• Epic Games account — if you choose to link your Epic account, we store your Epic Account ID and display name. We never receive your Epic password.
• Tournament activity — registrations, match results, and team memberships generated through your use of the platform.

3. How we use your data

• To operate your account and provide tournament services.
• To verify your in-game identity via Epic Account Services and prevent the use of alternate accounts in competitions.
• To display your public profile, stats, and tournament history on the platform.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. email address verification). We do not send marketing emails.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (database hosting, email delivery). Your Epic Account ID is obtained via Epic Games' official OAuth flow and used solely for identity verification within this platform.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via our Discord server or through the platform.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.
